Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade - The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
